As a desktop publisher I am always on the lookout for good quality clipart to enhance the publications I produce. I have found Highlander Graphics selection to be most suitable for my requirements, especially clipart of a Celtic nature. Both Vol. 1 and 2 of the Celtic Collection have given me some great material for the production of the program for the 129th Annual Highland Games, 1st January, 2000, at Waipu, New Zealand and also for the New Zealand Gaidhealtachd - Celtic Summer School, held at the historic Whangarei Heads School, New Zealand, on the 2nd January every year. I wanted the printed material for both of these events to have a distinct look about them and this was achieved with the aid of the Highlander Graphics Clipart selection.

A large proportion of my work reflects my Celtic ancestry and as a family historian I am using Highlander Graphics Clipart in my family history publication and also newsletters I produce for the Whangarei Branch of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists.

My daughter, at my request, gave me the HGS Celtic Fonts Library for Christmas. I saw their ad in SCOTTISH LIFE Magazine, and immediately said, "That's what I have been looking for for years!"
It has every font known to man, and a few that probably aren't. A Clan Newsletter Editor shouldn't be without this software! I would have given anything for it when I was doing the Clan Hay Newsletter. But when I was doing the newsletter we didn't have computers either.

I had a little trouble installing it on my computer- the computer's fault, not the software. When I phoned HGS for help, they couldn't have been more helpful. They led me to the solution to my problem and the program installed just like they said it would. Their support is every bit as good as their product.

Recently I purchased clip art from Highlander Software and some of the flags printed with white lines across the image. At the next Scottish Festival I attended I showed Tom my problem. He gladly replaced the CD. Unfortunately the new CD presented the same problem. At yet another Scot's Festival I again showed Tom my problem but this time he took my E-Mail address and then sent me the image in three different file formats. All of these images printed fine.

My E-Mail response to Tom Watson at Highlander Software was "Tom Thank you for your timely response. The Scots Flag files are greatly appreciated, and they all print fine on both of my printers. I am gratified that you service your products and customers with friendly concern.
